Brian Salinas is a Houston Texas based artist originally getting his start in 1993 with Cutting Edge Comics and Space City Comics, with his creator owned comic book character Sundog.

In 2011, in which he started work with New Jersey based comic book company Advent Comics for 3 years. Recently, Brian has decided to take a break from working on other comic book company’s characters and has focused on creating his own creator owned property in hopes of launching it in 2018.

Guy Gilchrist at the age of 24, was hand-selected to create Jim Henson’s Muppets Comic Strip that was printed world-wide in 660-plus newspapers daily from 1981 to 1986. Throughout the years, He has set his hand to such notable cartoons as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Fraggle Rock and The Pink Panther as well as instrumental in the creation of The Muppet Babies.

Gilchrist took over the iconic Nancy comic strip in 1995, and 2015 marks his twentieth-year drawing Nancy.

David Angelo Roman is a classically trained artist, having studied in Spain and Italy. Roman began his professional career as a mural and fresco artist, with emphasis in photo-realism and illusions. Always being a fan of comics, it was only a matter of time before he applied all his skills towards comic art. Roman was first publish with the comic book Xtreme Champion Tournament, and also created a leather variant cover for Aftershock’s hot title “Babyteeth” which was unveiled at San Diego Comic Con 2017.  Currently Roman is a Rick and Morty cover artist, creating art for the Oni – Adult Swim - Rick and Morty comic book and the Cryptozoic trading cards.  Roman is also an artist for Star Wars, Walking Dead, and Marvel under Topps, and Upperdeck.

I am Megan Staba, a 13 year old self taught artist from Sealy, TX. I have been drawing since I was two years old, loving to draw any characters from books, tv, anime, movies, and my own imagination. I was a guest artist for the 2017 season of the Texas Renaissance Festival and had my own booth for Sherwood Forest Faire and Comicpalooza. I will have my own booth at the 2018 Texas Renaissance Festival. I work in graphite, prismacolor coloured pencil, and digital art, selling prints of my fan art and original characters. I also have colouring books and puzzles of my work available for sale.

Whit McClendon

Whit McClendon is an author and martial arts instructor from Katy, Texas. Always a big fan of comic books and fantasy-adventure fiction, Whit combines his passion for kung fu and other martial arts with his love of swords and sorcery to write his stories. Once a cubicle dweller in the petrochemical field, he now owns and runs Jade Mountain Martial Arts in Katy, Tx, and writes in every spare minute. Born in Harlingen, Texas and raised in Houston and San Antonio, Johnnie’s interest in art came at an early age, sparked by everything from PBS, Mark Kistler (Commander Mark)  programs to the vivid illustrated side panels of arcade games. Johnnie’s love for movie art started with an obsession for the Ninja Turtles, his first piece of work was of the Ninja Turtle Movie poster. Two decades later his artwork demonstrates  a refined ability to capture the depth of human experience from iconic movie scenes.

Zombie Charge is the most authentic 5K zombie themed obstacle race series in Texas! With 3 cities in 2018, the race offers two ways to join – as a zombie or a runner!  Runners survive obstacles and challenges in 3 miles and zombies get a special effects makeover to then run after survivors! The event also has a festival with live music, games, vendors, contests and great charity partners like Houston Zombie Walk and partners like Creepy Hollow Haunted House and media like Telemundo and iHeart.  Zombie Charge is produced by Activeworks LL and has been around since 2013.
